Fortune Pai Gow Poker

Object of the Game
To beat the banker's hands.

How to Play
Pai Gow Poker is played using a deck of 52 cards plus one Joker. The Joker can be used only as an Ace, or to complete a straight, a flush, or a straight flush.

The banker may be any player or the dealer. Players are automatically offered the position of banker in sequence of play. When banking, the player must be able to cover all of the bets wagered by the other players and the house. A player may decline the position of banker, in which case the house deals and assumes the banker position.

All bets must be placed before cards are dealt. The dealer shakes a cup with three dice or activates a random number generator to determine the order of the deal. Each player receives seven cards and creates two separate hands consisting of a two-card hand and a five-card hand. Your five-card hand must always be higher in ranking than your two-card hand; otherwise the hand is "fouled", meaning your bet is lost.

In order to win, both your two-card hand and your five-card hand must be higher in value than the banker's two-card and five-card hands. A push (tie) occurs when only one of your two hands is higher in value than the dealer's corresponding hand.

Payouts Winning hands are paid even money (one to one). When a push occurs, the player keeps the original bet. The winnings of each player and the net winnings of the player/banker are subject to a five per cent commission collected by the dealer.

Fortune Pai Gow PokerTM Bonus Bet
Fortune Pai Gow PokerTM offers a side bet on the regular Pai Gow Poker game that pays a bonus based only on the player's hand. Players may place a wager up to $50 on the Fortune Bonus bet before cards are dealt.

Payouts
See the Fortune Pai Gow PokerTM Bonus Payout Chart below for qualifying hands and corresponding payouts. In addition, any Fortune Bonus bet of $5 or greater automatically qualifies for the Envy Bonus payout. If a hand value of Four of a Kind or greater appears in the round, the Envy Bonus will be paid to all qualified players in the round who do not have that hand. The dealer's hand never qualifies as an Envy Bonus hand, even when the dealer is not the banker.
